Carving Out Missing Calf Muscles!

Getting Younger EVERY Day!!! (DAY 2)

I don’t blame aging for this issue…just my laziness that I associate with my busyness of being older with more responsibilities. But for Post #2 of #gettingyoungereveryday, I focus on my calves…or lack thereof.

My calves were once chiseled from running, ballet, high-heel wearing, and generally walking around more than I do now. Now, I stand in my flat comfort shoes so my aging joints don’t ache at the end of the day. Now, I sit in my comfortable office chair while I stare at tiny details on my computer screen. Now, I go from point A to point B with little effort. Now, I miss my calves!

So, I vow today to regain some definition in the nether region of my legs. I vow to catch myself just standing around, and right then and there, I vow to do standing calf raises until they start to cramp in their weakness. My new motto is: “Calves Until You Cramp!”
